Instant Oatmeal For Less

Don't you just love those little packets of oatmeal in the morning. Add a little water and it's just like Mom's. If you are trying to cut back costs those convenient packets of oatmeal can add up. The oatmeal manufacturers have been giggling about you paying them for years because the process to create their product is so simple! Basically they take the oatmeal and grind it down to smaller particles that cook faster. Think about how long it takes to cook a whole potato and how long it takes to cook sliced potatoes. It is the same for oatmeal. Once you grind up your oatmeal in a food processor add a little salt and put it in baggies. You can add many many things to create some delicious breakfast oatmeals. Here are some of my favorite Instant Oatmeal Recipes on the web.
